While his days as a cover-band vocalist are behind him, Kevin maintains his rockstar status through his acumen for content strategy.
From copywriting to creative direction, Kevin is passionate about helping brands decipher what audiences need to know at any given time.
- Where do you find your inspiration / source of creativity?
From the people around me. I grew up playing team sports and playing music in bands, and I think it’s amazing how great athletes or musicians can work so well together and make everyone around them better because of it.
- What's your favorite place you've traveled to?
White Bay in the British Virgin Islands (at the recommendation of another Lippincott’er, Melissa Tait!). It’s literally paradise.
- When did you decide you wanted to be in this business? 그 이유는 무엇일까요?
It was actually a bit of an accident. I was considering law school, but changed my mind, so I had to find a job. I ended up taking one as a Technical Writer creating training programs for different types of software. Over time, I just nudged my way into the marketing department and a more traditional creative copywriting role. I guess I never looked back from there!
- What's changed the most about the industry / the work / the clients?
At the risk of sounding really old, it’s the technology and the speed at which ideas can be produced, tested and improved upon. When I started my career, we barely had cell phones and Myspace wasn’t even a thing yet. So it’s just incredible to think about how much more connected everything is today.
- Have you made any significant left turns, U-turns, or corkscrews in life?
When I was in college, my first major was Microbiology. I was always a bit of a math and science nerd. I guess graduating with an English degree would be a bit of a corkscrew.
