Lippincott Hires Former FCB Head of Design, Kevin Grady, as Senior Partner, Design for the West Coast

SAN FRANCISCO (2021년 10월 29일) – Lippincott, a global creative consultancy, announced that Kevin Grady has joined the firm as Senior Partner, Design, based in its San Francisco office. Grady brings over 30 years of creative leadership to Lippincott, with an incredible variety of design experience spanning diverse content, platforms and experiences. From creating Emmy-award winning campaigns to collaborating with the likes of David Bowie and Daft Punk, Grady has spent his career driving growth through the power of culturally relevant design.
Previously, Grady was EVP, Head of Design at FCB—D&AD’s 2020 Design Agency of the Year—and a member of FCB’s Global Creative Council. He also was Global Executive Creative Director at Siegel+Gale in New York and held Design and Creative Director positions at IDEO and Crispin Porter + Bogusky.
Upon joining Lippincott, Grady will be responsible for spearheading programs out of its San Francisco office, bringing cutting-edge design thinking to clients across the West Coast. He joins in a time of rapidly shifting client needs, where breakthrough identity design must also be comprehensively implemented across an ever-growing list of digital platforms.
“Kevin will be an incredible addition not only to our West Coast office, but to our global leadership team,” said Rick Wise, CEO. “His expertise is informed by a wealth of award-winning creative work, and his perspective will be critical to our success as we continue to grow as a firm.”
Grady has worked on a myriad of brands, including MTV Networks, VH1, Google, GAP, Converse, Grey Goose, Blue Origin, the Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago and the Psychedelic Furs. His “Singing Cowboy” concept for the Truth campaign was nominated for two Emmy awards, his redesign for the famous nutrition facts label was unveiled at the White House by Michelle Obama, and his work has been recognized at Cannes, D&AD, The One Show and The London International Awards, among others.
“Kevin is joining Lippincott at a pivotal moment,” said Connie Birdsall, Global Creative Director. “As our clients increasingly seek our guidance to create richer content and multi-platform campaigns grounded in their brand purpose, his leadership will be invaluable. Additionally, his passion for music and culture will be a welcome presence in a creative team that places a high premium on diverse perspectives and interests.”
Grady added: “I’m a big believer in the power of creativity as a crucial component of business success, now more than ever. At Lippincott, I’m really looking forward to partnering with our clients to create branding work that truly engages and delights people. With over 75 years of iconic design for famous brands, I can’t think of a better place to be than Lippincott. I’m excited to be a part of what’s next.”
